Messages on eForeverYoung are similar to email, but you can avoid the unwanted spam.  Only registered members that you share a connection with will be able to send you messages.  These connections might include your neighbors, groups, families, events, and your neighbors’ neighbors.  The functionality of your message inbox is very similar to current email clients.  Typical user questions are answered below, but for further instructions, see the site guide.

Sending a Message-

In order to send a message you can either click the link on your neighbor’s profile allowing you to send them a message, or you can click your “message” link and create a message and send it to any of your neighbors.

I can’t send a message to all my neighbors.

eForeverYoung limits the amount of people you can send a message to at the same time.  Currently that message limit is 20.

I want to send a message to a member who is not my neighbor?

In order to prevent unwanted messages, eForeverYoung does not allow messages to be sent to members that are not your neighbor.  Invite them to become your neighbor.

Can I attach a file?

You can not attach a file.  Messages are limited to sending text and links.

Can I send a message to multiple people at once?

You are able to send a message to multiple members at once, but their replies will only be sent back to you and not the group you originally sent the message to.  Conversations (continuing private messages) are limited between two members.  eForeverYoung does not allow members to send messages to over 20 people.

Where is the spell check located?

eForeverYoung does not have a message spell check included in the messages.  If you are concerned about misspellings, write your message in a word processor document and cut and paste the corrected message into the eForeverYoung message box and send it to your neighbor.
