Every member of eForeverYoung has their own member home page.  This page is also known as your personal profile page.  This is your portal to member content on eForeverYoung.  Everyone who is a registered member of eForeverYoung receives access to their own homepage or profile under the “Our Network” link.

Your home page contains event updates and also updates on the website that might have a connection to you.  These updates are completely automated; in order to lessen the amount of updates you may receive, go under your account settings and change the notification preferences.  The links provided in the updates will bring you to a detailed page containing the subject matter in the update.  Date stamps tell you when the notice occurred and the message tells you what the update entails.  More activities you participate in and connections you make on the website will increase the amount of updates you receive.

Your profile is a page dedicated to you.  This page is your portal to user created content on eForeverYoung.  The links on the left allow you to post information and also control information in regards to your presence on eForeverYoung.  Your profile includes your picture, current event listings, new site updates, your calendar, some neighbors, and also information about yourself that you have posted on the website.  From your profile homepage you can access all the facilities of the network portion of the website.

Overall, the format and the notifications can not be changed, but the preferences for the notification you choose to receive can be changed under your account settings.  Under the account settings, you have the ability to choose to allow or omit different notifications that would come to your home page.  eForeverYoung must have some way of informing you about various announcements such as requests, therefore, not every aspect is able to be blocked by members of eForeverYoung.

Currently, eForeverYoung allows members to choose to receive announcements about the general categories of wellness, interests, and life, but members don’t have the ability to get notified about a specific author’s article.  You will just have to remain privy to the articles that are posted on the site on a regular basis.  You can be notified about blogs if you become neighbors with the author of the blog.  Otherwise, there is not a system set up to notify you about posted blogs of non-neighbors.

The date is determined according to the time zone you have specified under your account settings.

This can happen for two reasons:

• Check your account settings under notifications to make sure you have the settings correct in regards to receiving notifications.
• If there is little update activity over a short period of time you might just not have many new notifications.

No, currently eForeverYoung does not include the ability to customize the links on this page for individual members.

Under your profile preferences, you are able to add and delete any personal information.  You can also change the privacy settings of this information through your privacy settings.

Your profile picture can be changed under your profile preferences.  The default privacy is set to everyone; this represents all eForeverYoung registered members.  If you don't want to post a picture, add something that will represent youself instead.

eForeverYoung does not currently allow members to customize their calendar thumbnail.

These six neighbors are the neighbors that you maintain the most frequent communication with through the site.  Currently, eForeverYoung does not allow members to change these preferences.
