In order to access the member portions of eForeverYoung, just fill out required information and then wait for validation [if you are invited, your account is immediately activated.]  These membership services are free of charge and supported by Ad revenue.  Once your membership has been approved, you can actively participate in all the aspects of the site reserved for members.  These aspects include the ability to have neighbors, participate in groups, blogs, and families, also the ability to send messages, create events, and picture albums.  eForeverYoung requires accurate information from our users, refer to the Terms of Use.

Where do I register for access to the site?

There are two register links on the home page of eForeverYoung.  One is on the top right and the other is on the top of the right hand column.  If you are not registered or logged in and you attempt to access the member’s only pages, you will be directed to a page asking you to log in or register there.  Membership to eForeverYoung is completely free and supported by ad revenue.

Why am I not receiving registration validation?

Sometimes eForeverYoung experiences many individuals attempting to register at the same time.  Staff members must make sure they view the new registrants.  Most likely this will take one to four days.  Please be patient and don’t continue to reregister onto the site.

Why does eForeverYoung need my name, can’t I use a handle?

eForeverYoung prefers the use of your own name to identify you to your neighbors.  The default privacy on eForeverYoung allows you to stay hidden from members on the site, but in most cases when members get used to how the site works, they will lower their privacy settings.  Many other sites might use handles (fake names for users such as Jdoe27), eForeverYoung would like to be more personal; and therefore, we would like people to use their own names.  If you still are concerned, refer to the terms of use and privacy policy of eForeverYoung.

I don’t want to give my email address because I don’t want any more SPAM.

Your email address will be used as your sign in name, as well as the primary way you will be contacted by the site.  eForeverYoung will never share your email with third parties without consent.  For additional information refer to eForeverYoung’s privacy policy.

Can I change my registration information?

Once you have become a member of eForeverYoung, you will have access to your personal account and privacy settings.  These pages will allow you to change and update any information pertaining to you that is included on the site.

How come I have to wait between registering and becoming an active member?

eForeverYoung has a short validation process in order to attempt to prevent people from falsifying information to abuse the site.  There is also the possibility that many people are registering at the same time and we are unable to handle the new demand.  If this happens we will inform users via the Inside eFY page. 

Also, check you email junk or spam folder.  Sometimes these emails will not reach your inbox and go directly to the junk mail.  In order to prevent this in the future, your email provider should have a link in the email that allows you to approve that these messages are safe.  By clicking that link you should now receive any eForeverYoung emails in your regular inbox.
