This month we will go back and focus on some more white wines, besides for a pinot noir.  Spring time calls for lighter meals that will be accompanied more often by white wines and these wines are unbeatable, for the price.

Montinore Estate Gewurztraminer 2006

Can't pronounce it? Don't worry; all you have to do is drink it, which is quite easy. A unique Oregon wine, the Gewurztramier has a sweet, rich flavor that hints at green apple and citrus, with floral and even banana notes. Dry, crisp, and a real mouthful, this wine keeps you tasting the sweet richness in between sips.

Price:  15 dollars a bottle

St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc 2005

A very delicious Sauvignon Blanc, the flavors of grapefruit and lime will assault your senses and make you feel comfortable and tangy, and the hints of kiwi will keep you wanting more.

The taste is surprisingly long for a wine of this type, and you'll be able to rank it with the wines that cost a hundred dollars or more.

Samtram Mamre Brook Chardonnay 2004

A balanced taste, and a to-dye-for aroma, what more can you ask for in a wine? This Chardonnay contains peachy, melon flavors with hints of a citrus array. With subtle under tones of a rich deep oak.

This wine has it all. You couldn't ask for more in something so very spectacular!

De Bortoli Sero Unwooded Chardonnay 2005

Laboure Roi Bourgogne Rouge Maximum Pinot Noir 2003

It's bright. It's fruity. It's a wonderful wine! You won't believe the delicious, deep strawberry flavors with red berries and a rich, smooth feel to the tongue.

Bonny Doon's Le Cigare Blanc 2005

This carefully made wine is impressive; a smooth, clean taste with fresh hints of ginger, lemon, jasmine and, believe it or not, honeysuckle. It's got personality without being overbearing, and its dry, crisp taste makes the glass hard to put down.
